On the Maltese Islands, every July, the International Jazz Festival takes place, with a line-up of the world’s top artists, presenting an eclectic mix of jazz styles from various music scenes.

World famous artists have performed in-front of many crowds under a summer star-lit sky during this festival.

Such names as John Scofield, Al Di Meola, Chick Corea, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Cubanismo, Petrucciani, Betty Carter, Joe Zawinul and more, have performed here.

The unique atmosphere by the Grand Harbour in Valletta at night is a truly magical one, making the night one to remember. Mike Stern himself said, while playing for his audience at this venue: ‘I have never played in a postcard before'.

The Festival usually takes place over three consecutive nights at Ta’Liesse in Valletta.

Entrance is normally at a nominal charge.
